Are Consumers Interested in Finding Deals on Social Sites?

There are many discounts being offered by many companies on traditional social network sites. Research shows that users are out there looking for those deals as well. Businesses and organizations are looking beyond Facebook and Twitter in social network marketing.

Most marketers have now figured out that social network marketing has the most potential for their brands of any other media. Facebook and twitter have great numbers but they don't deliver for business.

BtoB magagzine says that companies like Twitter because it is easy and cheap but doesn't deliver any ROI. Facebook is in the same boat with a business getting the same features and attention as a 14 year old. We're betting that a branded social network with more tools will provide a lot more impact and make a differnece on the bottom line. Your thoughts?
