Are Consumers Interested in Finding Deals on Social Sites?

There are many discounts being offered by many companies on traditional social network sites. Research shows that users are out there looking for those deals as well. Actually 75% say shopping those offers is helpful to them. But is that the best way to promote products and services. Your thoughts are appreciated. Let's debate the subject.

Pete, interesting enough, most people are very interested in looking for deals on social network sites. But not everybody. The problem with most of those ads is that very few people click through on them - Facebook has very low numbers on average. It will be a challenge to either find out what will get people to folloe through or find some other way to get them to commit.

Personally, I pretty much ignore the ads on social network sites.  I'm not there to buy stuff, just to "visit" with friends.
